Partner Network Guidelines

How Direct Partner Commissions, Network Commissions, qualification, payouts and Partner-of-Record changes work, in plain English, with the numbers worked through.

You do not need to be an AeroIDX customer to join the Partner Network. Individuals and businesses can take part by referring qualifying AeroIDX customers.

Last updated August 14, 2026

Direct Partner Commission

When you directly refer a new qualifying AeroIDX customer, you become the Direct Partner of Record for that subscription. Your commission rate is based on how many Qualifying Accounts you have.

Qualifying Accounts Direct Partner Commission
0–1 No commission
2–4 10% recurring
5+ 20% recurring

Once you reach five Qualifying Accounts, the 20% rate applies to all qualifying referred accounts for which you are the Direct Partner of Record, not only to the fifth and beyond.

  • If your count later drops below five, your Direct Partner Commission returns to 10%.
  • If it drops below two, new Direct Partner Commissions pause until you again have at least two Qualifying Accounts.

Commission rates are based on your current qualification level and apply going forward.

What counts as a Qualifying Account

A Qualifying Account is an eligible AeroIDX Primary Customer Account that is active and in good standing. It may be a qualifying customer you referred or, if you are an AeroIDX customer yourself, your own qualifying account. All Qualifying Accounts must be active at the same time.

Counting toward your qualification level and generating a commission are not the same thing. A Qualifying Account raises your level; only a qualifying account you referred pays you a Direct Partner Commission.

Your own AeroIDX account

If you are also an AeroIDX customer, your own qualifying AeroIDX account counts toward your qualification level. You never earn a Direct Partner Commission on your own payments to AeroIDX.

For example: you use AeroIDX yourself and directly refer four active qualifying customers. You have five Qualifying Accounts, so you reach the 20% level. You earn 20% on your four referred customers, and nothing on your own subscription.

One Direct Partner per account

Every AeroIDX subscription can have only one Direct Partner of Record at a time. AeroIDX will never pay two 10% or 20% Direct Partner Commissions on the same subscription.

One subscription, one Direct Partner Commission.

A separate Network Commission may also apply, as described next.

Network Commission

Partners can also earn a 3% recurring Network Commission by introducing other productive partners to the AeroIDX Partner Network.

If you introduce another partner, and that partner qualifies and directly refers customers, you receive 3% of Commissionable Revenue generated by their qualifying direct customer accounts. The 3% applies whether the Direct Partner is currently earning 10% or 20%, so the normal maximum partner compensation on a second-tier account is:

  • 10% Direct + 3% Network = 13%
  • 20% Direct + 3% Network = 23%

There is currently no third-tier commission.

When the Network Commission begins

A partner you introduce must first have at least two Qualifying Accounts before partner commissions are generated through that relationship. If the partner has only one Qualifying Account, the Direct Partner receives no partner commission and the Network Partner receives no Network Commission.

Once the Direct Partner reaches two Qualifying Accounts, qualifying commissions begin according to that partner's current commission level. Commissions are not created retroactively for periods in which the partner was not qualified.

A worked example

Bob refers Frank to AeroIDX. Frank becomes both an AeroIDX customer and an AeroIDX Partner, and then refers one qualifying customer of his own.

Frank's own qualifying account counts as one Qualifying Account toward his level, and the customer he referred counts as a second. Two Qualifying Accounts puts Frank at the 10% Direct Partner Commission level. If Frank's referred customer pays $199 in Commissionable Revenue:

  • $19.90 Frank's 10% Direct Partner Commission
  • $5.97 Bob's 3% Network Commission

If Frank later reaches five Qualifying Accounts, his Direct Partner Commission increases to 20%. On that same $199 customer:

  • $39.80 Frank's 20% Direct Partner Commission
  • $5.97 Bob's 3% Network Commission, unchanged

The Network Commission stays at 3% whether Frank is at the 10% or the 20% level.

What happens to Frank's own account?

Bob originally referred Frank to AeroIDX, so Bob remains the Direct Partner of Record for Frank's own subscription. That means:

  • Frank's subscription counts as a Qualifying Account for both Bob and Frank, because counting toward a level is not the same as being paid.
  • Bob receives the applicable Direct Partner Commission on Frank's subscription.
  • Frank never receives a commission on his own subscription.
  • Bob does not also receive a 3% Network Commission on that same account.

This prevents duplicate commissions on a single subscription.

Commissionable Revenue

AeroIDX calculates partner commissions from Commissionable Revenue, which generally means the AeroIDX base subscription and applicable MLS data add-ons that AeroIDX actually collected from an eligible customer subscription.

Commissionable Revenue does not include:

  • Prestige
  • Setup or onboarding fees
  • One-time professional services
  • Taxes
  • Refunds, credits and chargebacks
  • Pass-through costs
  • Third-party products or fees
  • Other amounts AeroIDX designates as noncommissionable

Commissions are also not earned on amounts that are reversed, uncollected or fraudulent.

New account qualification

Newly referred AeroIDX subscriptions are subject to an initial 30-day qualification period.

The account must remain active and in good standing for at least 30 days before it becomes eligible to generate partner commissions. This protects the Partner Network from immediate cancellations, refunds, fraud and other short-lived transactions.

Partner payout schedule

AeroIDX pays partner commissions on the 25th of each month, for eligible commissions from customer payments that settled during the previous calendar month.

AeroIDX pays out monthly once your unpaid eligible commission balance reaches $500. Below that, the balance carries forward and keeps accumulating.

Annual payout

Any eligible commission balance still unpaid at the end of the calendar year is paid on January 25 of the following year, even if the balance is under $500.

If your eligible balance reaches $540 from customer payments settled in May, AeroIDX pays the $540 on June 25. If you finish the calendar year with an unpaid eligible balance of $275, AeroIDX pays the $275 on January 25.

To receive payouts, partners must keep valid payment and tax information on file.

Partner of Record

The partner who legitimately originates an AeroIDX customer normally becomes that customer's Partner of Record.

That attribution is protected, because partners need confidence that the customers they bring to AeroIDX will keep generating recurring commissions. AeroIDX also believes customers should be able to choose the partner who best supports their business. So:

Partner attribution is protected, but it is not permanently locked.

Changing your Partner of Record

An AeroIDX customer may request to move from one Partner of Record to another.

Reasons a customer might choose another partner include:

  • Better onboarding
  • More responsive support
  • Additional training
  • HighLevel assistance
  • Snapshots or implementation resources
  • Marketing assistance
  • Other ongoing services that better fit the customer's business

A customer does not need to stay permanently associated with a partner who is no longer providing meaningful value.

Customer-initiated transfers

A partner change should normally start with the customer. AeroIDX partners may promote their own services, but they may not systematically target other partners' existing AeroIDX customers to transfer commissions away from them.

Customer choice is encouraged. Partner poaching is not.

One-business-day advisory period

When AeroIDX receives a valid transfer request, the current partner will normally receive one business day of notice before the transfer completes. This is an advisory and verification period, not a cure period. The outgoing partner may flag issues such as fraud, mistaken account attribution, an unauthorized transfer request or an administrative error.

The outgoing partner does not have the right to block an otherwise valid customer-requested transfer simply because they would prefer to keep the account.

One partner change per 12 months

To encourage stable relationships and discourage frequent switching, a customer may normally change their Partner of Record no more than once in any rolling 12-month period. AeroIDX may approve exceptions, including when a partner closes their business, leaves the network, stops servicing customers, commits fraud or abuse, seriously violates Partner Network rules, or when reassignment is necessary to protect the customer or the network.

There is no partner transfer fee.

Commissions during a transfer

When an existing AeroIDX customer changes partners, the account enters a 30-day Partner Transfer Qualification Period.

During that period:

  • The former partner receives no commission on the transferred subscription.
  • The incoming partner receives no commission on the transferred subscription.
  • No Network Commission is generated from that subscription.

The new Partner becomes the Partner of Record before commissions begin. After 30 continuous days with the new Partner of Record, eligible commissions begin from that point forward. AeroIDX does not pay retroactively for the qualification period.

The former partner

  • Keeps commissions legitimately earned before the transfer
  • Is not required to return previously earned commissions simply because the customer moved
  • Stops earning new commissions from that subscription

The new partner

  • Becomes the customer's Partner of Record
  • Receives no commission during the 30-day transfer qualification period
  • Begins earning the applicable Direct Partner Commission after it

The Network Partner

If the new Direct Partner has a qualifying Network Partner, the 3% Network Commission begins when the new Direct Partner Commission becomes eligible.

No self-reassignment

A partner may not move their own existing AeroIDX subscription underneath themselves to collect a commission on it, or to remove the partner who originally referred them.

Your own qualifying account counts toward your qualification level, but it never generates a Direct Partner Commission for you, so there is nothing to gain by moving it. A legitimate transfer to another partner remains available to the customer under the normal transfer rules.

Administrative transfers

AeroIDX may correct or change partner attribution when necessary, for example when:

  • An account was incorrectly attributed
  • Fraudulent activity occurred
  • Partner Network rules were violated
  • A partner abandoned customers
  • The parties mutually agree to a reassignment
  • Reassignment is necessary to maintain the integrity of the Partner Network

AeroIDX intends to use administrative reassignment reasonably and sparingly, so that partners can confidently invest in building long-term customer relationships.

The philosophy behind this

We are not simply paying commissions for referral links. AeroIDX is investing in partners who help:

  • Introduce customers
  • Demonstrate AeroIDX
  • Assist with onboarding
  • Create training and educational content
  • Answer customer questions
  • Provide implementation assistance
  • Support customers
  • Improve retention
  • Introduce additional productive partners

Our objective is a partner ecosystem in which everyone benefits when customers succeed.

We're not trying to build the largest sales team in the IDX industry. We're building the strongest Partner Network.
